Review by hotel critic
During my recent stay at Casa Gran in Barcelona, I was pleasantly surprised by the balance of luxury and value this hotel offers. Nestled in a prime location, it provides convenient access to a range of local attractions and eateries, allowing guests to immerse themselves in the city's vibrant atmosphere. The roof terrace is a delightful touch, perfect for enjoying breakfast or unwinding in the evening. Our room was thoughtfully decorated, clean, and incredibly cozy, thanks to the daily housekeeping that ensured a pleasant stay. Every room comes equipped with water bottles and earplugs, which was a thoughtful addition for a comfortable night's sleep. What stood out was the attentive service from Daniela, Victor, and Anna. Despite arriving late due to my flight, Victor graciously assisted me with printing my conference badge. Anna's kindness when I wasn't feeling well made a difference; she wrapped up my breakfast for later and offered valuable local dining recommendations. Breakfast was simple but satisfying, with limited options that were nutritious and flavorful. For travelers seeking a mix of luxury and financial prudence, Casa Gran emerges as a fine choice. I look forward to returning to learn more about Barcelona's rich history, all while enjoying the comforts of this charming hotel.
